How should I prepare for my first Reiki treatment?

Please use your headphones and make sure you will be uninterrupted, in a quiet space, for 45 minutes sitting or, preferably, laying down.

Feel free to light a candle or incense.  You may also have some crystals around you. 
It's recommended having the lights off and the curtains pulled if you want a dim room.  The device will need to be propped up so that I can see you. 

What should I expect from my first Distance Reiki session?

Reiki tends to feel warm and profoundly relaxing. 


Some people describe a floating sensation and some see colors or shapes during the session. Some people fall asleep. Some experience emotional release. There is no expected experience- Reiki treatment is unique for each individual who receives it.


The most common results of Reiki treatment include:  

• Perceived reduction in stress • Increased relaxation • Enhanced sense of balance, centeredness and calm.  

How often are Reiki sessions recommended?

For your first Reiki session you will need a 45 minute slot. 3 sessions are recommended about a week apart, afterwards you may book maintenance sessions as you desire.
